Egerton Pumas U9’s 4 – 0 Cuddington U9’s

Egerton ran out comfortable winners in a game where they created countless chances. Although, after a goal less first half, which included Matthew Willis crashing the ball against the bar and a missed penalty, it looked like the Pumas hundred per cent record might come to an end. That was until stand-in keeper Jack Curbishley went up front for the second half and helped himself to four goals and the man of the match of the award.

Egerton Panthers U9’s 6 – 1 Cuddington U9’s

Cuddington took an early lead when a deflected shot looped over Mitchell Brown and into the net. A neat exchange of passes between Luke Granger and Andy Price created space for Leo Buckley to level the scores just before half time to leave the game evenly balanced game. The second half, however, was very different when a tactical reshuffle saw Egerton dominate. Olivia French threaded a fine ball through to Archie Phillips who mad no mistake in scoring the first of a rapid hat trick which ended the game as a contest. Andy Price weighed in with another goal, before Archie struck his fourth to cap a stunning man of the match performance.
